{mosimage}Women are often made vulnerable through lack of language skills and education. IKWRO provide training courses, workshops and seminars on education and employment opportunities that refugee women can access.

We have got two computers at home. They are belongs to my husband and my sons. I never had a chance to even touch the computers. I would like to thank IKWRO for giving me this opportunity to learn about IT, how to work with this and the most important this course has helped me to gain self-esteem and not be afraid of working on a computer and to use the home computers too.
IT Course Participant

We organised an IT training course consists of  twelve sessions,  funded by South East London Foundation  to improve Iranian, Afghan and Kurdish women’s access to the English language, higher education and professional training. Job search and labour market profiles were two other topics provided by training professionals. This training course helped women to improve their skills and knowledge and increase their self-esteem toward employment.

It is extremely important for IKWRO to provide services to empower women at all stages of their life to make them able to stand up for their rights, and to increase their economic independence.
